On the 1st of April 2023, Fluid Chemicals NZ entered in to a new joint venture partnership with Christeyns NV. Christeyns is a family owned major player in the global detergent market with a passion for state-of-the-art hygiene solutions, innovation, sustainability and strong partnerships. Active in over 50 countries, Christeyns portfolio includes hygiene solutions for professional textile care, food processing & retail, professional cleaning, water treatment and much more. Like Fluid Chemicals, Christeyns is also family owned and believe strongly in partnering with other family owned businesses in local markets. Their move in to New Zealand is the first step in growing business in the Asia Pacific region.
We are excited about the opportunities this partnership will bring to FluidChristeyns and our business in New Zealand. There will be only small changes as we update our company logo and in due course our e-mail addresses. All other details will remain the same – we will continue to manufacture and supply from our site in Airport Oaks, Mangere. Our staff will remain the same as will the supply of quality cleaning chemicals backed up by regular on-site service visits. In time we will have the opportunity to introduce you to some of our new colleagues based in Christeyns businesses in 50 other countries. We will be exploring the Christeyns portfolio of products and looking to see which products will work well in the New Zealand market – particularly in the fields of textile care and food processing.
Our on the ground knowledge and expertise will be bolstered by access to a research and development team of over 80 people. Additionally, we will have access to Christeyns Engineering equipment and world leading sustainability solutions including water and energy saving technologies.
